Chez Alex "Gasikara Bungalows" Is a small and simple complex of three
bungalows:2 are placed at the seaside, and the third one, bigger than the
others ( 2 floors ), is behind them
They are buid with local materials in a style that recalls the Malagasy
buildings adapted to the requirements of the tourist , perfectly integrated
with the context of the landscape.
They are placed on the beach of Ambondrona , after the Bay of
Madirokely-Ambatoloaka (center of the tourism) in a peace and tranquillity
atmosphere ( read the section "
introduzione " and "
l'isola di Nosy be " to
have a general idea).
Behind Chez Alex there’s the small and typical Malagasy village of
Ambondrona.
It’s the ideal place to live an experience in contact with the nature
and the people of the place near the turistic activity that the island
offers.
How
to arrive
The connections between Europe and Madagascar are guaranteed by the
companies Air-Madagascar , Air-France, Corsair , Air Italy, Neos, blue panorama
Air Madagascar makes direct connections between Italy ( Milan Malpensa )
and Nosy be or the capital ( Antanarivo ).
Air France start from Milano Malpensa to Antanarivo passing fron Paris.

while, for the company of flag, various news with international and
domestical flights are found on Air-madagascar.com
After your arrival to Nosy Be you can reach Chez Alex by a taxi (ready to
attend you at the airport). The transfer is less than one hour
- A cooker offers you every kind of plates! You eat on the veranda or directly
on the beach. The ratio quality/price is excellent.
For groups of friends it's possible to organized grill in front of the
bungalows.

- Restaurant in the village( chez flo )
Transports
The best way to move on the island is by taxi. There're the collective taxi
(because’ they’re used in community' with other people) ; They are very low
price and they perform transports between defined villages.
The special taxis bring you where you want and they are present every time.
The costs, in this case, is more expensive but however is very low reported
to the European prices (for example to move from Ambatoloaka to Ambondrona
when there are few collective taxis in the evening, you spent less than 4
Euro…not by person!). The prices change and depend on how you contract and
if is day or night.
From Chez Alex there aren’t problems because you can reach the principal
road that brings the collective taxis to the village in 5 minutes and
there's always a taxi special directly in the village.
On the island it is possible to rent bike, motorbikes etc.
